Watch for the orange circle "T" at several downtown parking locations also.

Water, Wastewater & Drainage

The City of Keller provides water service to approximately 14,000 accounts by purchasing water from the City of Fort Worth at an average of 238 million gallons each month.

Keller, 18 other cities and the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport are contract parties with the Central Regional Wastewater System of the Trinity River Authority (TRA) for the treatment of all wastewater generated by Keller residents.

Outdoor Warning System & Sirens

The City of Keller maintains and operates 11 outdoor warning sirens, three of which have voice alerting. The first Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m. (weather permitting), the Keller Fire Department and Emergency Management Officer test these sirens.

An Outdoor Warning System consists of multiple sirens designed to alert and notify citizens of emergencies in “OUTDOOR AREAS.” These emergencies may include, but are not limited to, natural emergencies, transportation accidents involving hazardous material, emergencies at fixed facilities, acts of terrorism and other catastrophic events about which the community needs to be informed immediately. Citizens that are indoors should not mistakenly wait to hear a siren as their only source of warning information; turn on a television, radio or NOAA Weather radio for more specific community-related information.
